✂️ Aggressively started cutting costs recently

I wasn't really aware how much my money was just evaporating

I cut $456,372/year in costs this month (or 20%) and improved my overall profit margins over all my sites 67% to 87%

Stuff like: - sending weekly job alerts instead of daily (I was sending 70,000 daily emails, bit pricey!) then changing the plan on SendGrid to a lower one, that cut the bill from $1500 to $150! - cancelling lots of SaaS/API subscriptions and rewriting some code to not use them anymore - replacing Google NSFW $2,000/mo img detection with internally built one for $50/mo - went supportless for most of my sites but Remote OK and now using the Canny bug board http://ideasbugs.levels.io for them to collect bugs and feedback - ending sponsorships that costed more than they made $ - replaced lots of human work with GPT4 API robots for about 1000x cheaper - disabling versioning in backups getting a bill from $1000/mo down to $50/mo - switching from A100 GPU to A40 GPU which is half the price and 80% as fast for Photo AI / Interior AI

Quite astonished how much in costs I could cut, so much fat you build up over the years
